EQT - MVP – Mountain Valley Pipeline – Phase I of this planned project consists of approximately 330 miles of 42” diameter natural gas pipeline running from northwestern West Virginia to southern Virginia. As an interstate pipeline this project is regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The MVP will extend the Equitrans transmission system in Wetzel County, West Virginia, to the Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Company’s (Transco) Zone 5 compressor station 165 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Synergy Inspections is currently one of the major providers of inspection services for this $3.5B project expected to be in service Q1 – 2019.
EQT - MAKO Pipeline – Synergy Inspections provided full inspection services for this 32 mile – 24” to 30” diameter pipeline project running from Waynesburg PA to Bentleyville PA. The project included the installation of approximately 32,000 horsepower of compression being built in agreement with Range Resources Appalachia LLC. at the new Amity PA Compressor Station. Synergy Inspections was awarded this project in its entirety and provided every type of inspector needed for all mainline work as well as interconnects and the Compressor Station. All work went on line in Q1 – 2018.
MarkWest Energy Partners – Liberty Ethane Pipeline - This FERC-regulated MarkWest Liberty Ethane Pipeline project consisted of a pipeline system that transports ethane from Sherwood, West Virginia to Houston, Pennsylvania. We provided inspections staffing for one of the spreads on this critical link in MarkWest’s ethane transport system.
National Fuel Gas – Line “N” Corridor – Synergy Inspections provided welding inspectors to assist with the replacement of 1947 vintage 20-inch high pressure natural gas pipeline with approximately 6 miles of 24-inch pipeline. This project also added 20,620 horsepower at the Buffalo Compressor Station that will increase the capacity of Line N to meet future capacity requirements for locally produced gas transported from the Marcellus Shale Play.
EQT - Ohio Valley Connector – Synergy Inspections provided Routing and Engineering services for the Ohio Valley Connector project for EQT that transports natural gas from northern West Virginia to Clarington, Ohio. This 37 mile – 30” diameter pipeline project was an extension of the existing Equitrans system and was regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
